Genealogist
Digging into one's ancestry can be like doing detective work on a personal case since it involves your own relatives. I enjoy the reward of find out facts and learning more about my previous generations.
Over the past 10 years, I have created two genealogical works - one for my dad's side of the family and one for my mom's. For my dad's book, I traced his ancestors and their travels from England in the 1600's to Connecticut to New York and then to Wisconsin. You can download a copy
here (best viewed on a computer or tablet).
For my mom's book, I was fortunate to have access to sources that told the story of her ancestors' emigration. I built upon that to flesh out the lives of those who emigrated and those who came after. Copies of that work can be purchased
here.
A couple times, I have done genealogical research for friends. I have access to some decent resources so if you have a personal genealogical question, feel free to send me a note.
