Incubated in the upstairs rec room of Stephen Christopher Wall's home, The Garden brought together 5 North Carolina highschoolers
who shared a devotion to classic R.E.M. as well as various levels of appreciation for The Cure, The Smiths, Indigo Girls, New Order, U2 and many other "classic alternative" bands of the late 80's and early 90's, long before "classic alternative" was a genre.

Featuring Scott Dailey on vocals, Aaron Jacks on guitar and backup vocals, Chris Wall on bass, Dave Byrd on drums, and Joel Newton on keyboard.
These are the artwork and the tracks from The Gardens's 1992 eponymous album.
